At the heart of the organisation is Stuart, a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and accredited Action Centred Leadership tutor, who brings extensive experience in team, operational, and strategic leadership. Stuart is also a lead tutor with UK Coaching, licensed to deliver CPD programmes for sports coaches, volunteers, and administrators. His background includes governance, senior management, and consultancy roles — with assignments both in the UK and overseas, often in complex and challenging environments. The DICC serves as the International Federation of Sport for Deaf Cricket, with its member associations representing their respective national Deaf Cricket bodies worldwide. Operating under international sports law (jus commune), DICC maintains its own Lex Sportiva — a private framework of sporting regulations designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity across all events, including international and bilateral series. Project Objective Our aim was to create a professional, accessible, and authoritative website that strengthens DICC’s online presence, communicates its global mission, and celebrates its commitment to Deaf athletes and the wider cricketing community. The platform needed to balance formality with accessibility — presenting complex governance information in a clear, engaging format.
